Abortion

If you were pregnant, and discovered during a routine scan that there was something wrong with the child you were carrying, would you consider having an abortion? If so, how much would you be influenced by a) the expected severity of the disability b) the expected lifespan of the child c) how far along you were with the pregnancy?

For men, if you don't feel able to answer the above, how would you react if this happened to a woman carrying your child? How much of a say would you feel entitled to in the decision?

I'll give my own provisional thoughts on the matter in a later (possibly friends-only) post, but I'd like to hear everyone else's views.

(and, just to reassure anyone, this is purely hypothetical)
